As a representative of FOATZ, I attended a meeting of organic farming stakeholders organized by Access Agriculture International (AA). Participating stakeholders included TOAM, Swiss Aid, and ERAs from Kilimanjaro, Kigoma, Dodoma, and FAO.
Access Agriculture International organized the meeting.
An important topic of discussion was the use of digital technology (smart projectors) to reach organic farmers.
The method has been successful and is spreading in Africa and Tanzania; it is already being used in a variety of places.
I had the opportunity to discuss FOATZ, what we are doing, and ask for partnership with AA and ERAs at this meeting. A partnership with AA through ERA is possible.
